Since I haven't started weaving (yet) I thought I'd post a pic of an alternative. Two dollar iron-on patch from Wally World, set into the EVA foregrip.

Hi Bruce, That's a darn good idea for those of us that haven't gone over to the dark side yet... lol. Quick question, what kind of tool are you using to make your relief cuts in your EVA ? I used a three sided file and mine don't look quite as sharp or wide as yours...

Jeff, the tool that I used is some sort of round wire saw blade with abrasive on it. It came as part of a set of some kind of tile cutter that I've had so long I can't even remember where I bought it. I use it to cut everything, and it does real well with the EVA. I'd look around at your local hardware store. I think it was originally made to fit on a coping saw.
