Michael, Do I understand you correctly that the black sections of the handle actually spin freely? If so what is the reasoning behind that?

No Emory...the grips are held fast with Rod Bond and quite "grippy". Teh stainless winding checks have an outer ring that spins!

Spinners! lol Cool idea with the bike grips, I bet they are pretty comfy. Looks like a pretty good size blank, it should suck up alot of thread. Post a pic when you get it wrapped.

$30 worth of spinners!! and grippage on the max bro's. Thinkin about teh flared out and in, all floure'd out with teh fine "silk ka dilk" so bright to you be gettin' teh shades on. Flippin the jig big! Smile LOL
