What is the difference? Is this quicker to use, easier, cheaper, etc?

Larger bore so it fits over most reel seat hoods. Cheaper by maybe $100 but you would have to call Renzetti for that. I haven't seen an advertised price. If you use it with metallic thread you should locate it far enough left to keep the threads from tangling. The foam wheels are the same size as are the plastic backer plates. It has two sets of screws like the right side to make it stable. In the past we would just take the one off the end of the tube but it only had the one set of screws so this is much better.
