Cork looks great when it's new. but most fishermen I know never took very good care of it. Pretty soon it looked pretty ratty. ;-)

To add to your comments on the cork.......If the builders of today(myself included) could get cork of the quality in your photo on a regular basis, I think we would do just about anything!!!! LOL!!!
