I used a background layer of lavender guinea hen, with jungle cock feathers and a trimmed peacock eye. Gained a new respect for peacock feathers, with this rod!

There's a LOT going on there. The guniea looks nice, because it "fits" as a background feather. I'm not really a fan of feathers, but I like the 2 you posted. Nice job.
