wasn't until after I had done the whole rod that I realised the gold was acrylic but it turned out ok I guess. Next time I'l read the bottle,lol.

Nothing wrong with acrylic as far as i'm concerned. The "stringyness" some folks complain about, or have even got emotional about, doesnt bother me at all. In fact I prefer the acrylics - maybe its the colors or how they 'blend' I dunno I just prefer 'em myself. 2nd on my list is powders like pearl-ex they are ok, then lastly the enamels...i dont like 'em as much but they are ok. IMHO
