This is a 5' 6" MH with a 10" rear grip. I made it for dippin into rocks for Rockfish and Cabezon on jetties. I chose the recoils to hopefully take the punishment from lure retrieving when you have to reel down into the rocks to unsnag your lure. Stripper guide is only 14" from reel, rod is not meant to be cast. I think it will be a very fun rod to use for this.

nice but i find that reel seat is a more comfortable fit in the hand mounted the other way round but it's all a personal thing i guess
