That is great work Roz and I have to give you a 10 just for using soo much metallic. Not the easiest stuff to work with. Try rolling the thread after the CP goes off. I think the tutorial is on the site. Good luck, I off to my biggest show of the year.

Roz,
That may have been me that posted my black widow a while back
[ link ]
I wasn't happy with my spacing either, I copied the same colors and design from Ross Van Eckhert (Rod Works) next time I'll make the body smaller like the one on his site.
It was difficult for me to copy from his picture also. I ended up cutting about an hour off at one point.

James,
I've never been attracted to wraps with a lot of metalic, I'm of the opinion 'less is more', however in this case I wanted to copy the wrap exactly.
It's the first time I've used a metalic as the primary thread..... and yeh I wont be making a habbit of if. I've already been picked on for making my wraps "too girly" .... I hope you read this Myles!!!! Thanks for the tip James, I will go and have a look see. I need to learn all these problem fixers.
cheers roz

Hi Scott,
I saved the pic, will go back and have a look.
In the photo I have, the metallic looks like 'C' I do apologize if I'm wrong.
As I have mentioned the thread (metallic) I used was a very fine 'A' where as the black was 'C', at the time it didn't occur to me. I am minimizing the gaps with extra packing...not easy. Will perhaps submit a warts 'n all photo, I do like the fact that epoxy sometimes hides a multitude of sins, but at the end of the day I know the mistakes are there & I would rather they were not.
Thanks fellas for your comments and help, very much appreciated.
cheers roz.

I don't think they make a metallic n C. The one from my pic is A the only size Gudebrod makes the calcutta gold color in.

I have some metalic colours in 'C', they are available here. Only use them sparingly.
