Thanks Jim, this is a pretty lousy picture - the actual colors are really bright

Doc, thanks for the comments. I get alot of ideas and inspiration from the likes of yourself and others here on this board, but believe me I would not attempt to out do any one of you. I'm just grateful that you all are willing to share your work and techniques - it gives me fresh ideas to work with - keep em coming lol!

You got some "shake" wrapping that double...but you still don't have teh Billy single wrap "twist". Great looking wrap ya west coast NERB! (that should jack things up a tad!lol.) Hope to see more of this from you.

DId you happen to use Xtra? I'm re-wrapping that White and Red wrap using that Pearl white color fo th background just to see if it works. Regarding this wrap, GREAT job. You are nuts for doing it double, I'm afraid of double wraps. When I saw Mike's double Gargoyle Saturday, I shook my head and put the rod far away so I didn't get any foul ideas. AS far as outdoing....please outdo. THat's how we all improve.

MJ - I only tried it after seeing yours - I had no idea what I was in for. How quickly 5 repeats becomes 40 when doing a double. West coast NERB lol

Al - I know , GREEN & purple; Green & purple... I thought I'd have a Little self respect and change it up a little - the green does looks better - pops off the black much better.

Billy - It's all Xtra except the charcoal. I have a sample of xtra in black that I almost used instead, & it probably would have looked better, but again, a little self respect lol. BTW the white background is the 834 - I believe thats the pearl white you refer to.

Fred - Nametag - lol - but I think I'm done with name tags

Paul & Mark thanks for the compliments

Jerry, please update us when the CP and epoxy has been applied, I hope the shine of that Xtra thread stays that way. That thread is the stuff, NO TWIST when wrapping bands, it's really a nice thread. I just wish they sold 1000M spools, and I REALLY hope it looks the way it looks after CP/Epoxy. Extra thumbs p for doing this with Xtra.

A bump for JErry, hopefully this will wake him up out of his deep ice cold funk and get him back into wrapping rods in his new shop.
