Nice looking grip Bill. What is your take on balsa? I've considered using it on ultralights, but playing with it, I was always concerned about the durability as far as dents and dings go.

Mick It is very soft, but as light as a feather. I have a coating of spar on it, but am thinking that maybe a thined coat of epoxy when dry may be harder?

I did a wooden handle in poplar and it was pretty light and I know it would be more durable than balsa. I was actually surprised at how light it was.

But that really looks nice.
