I like it. How many threads? Does this signify a new trend in weaves, birds instead of dragons?

Jim gave the Dragons the bird. Intense colors, nice job.

I hate to be the butthead, but I have to ask....Jim, all that white stuff on the black thread, that isn't dried CP or epoxy bubbles is it? Pictures magnify everything unfortunately, I 'll show you a wrap I did a few weeks ago in which I have that same look on Black thread, from I don't know where.

Billy, Uhhhhh all that white stuff? Well yes it's that darn color preserver. I keep hoping that one day I will find something that won't do that. It's a little more evenly spread around than the way it looks in the picture but it drives me nuts.
Jim K., No I'm not getting into birds but thought this one was cool. Actually it's a take off of the "Maui Jim" glasses parrot. This pattern is 50 X 158
5 colors and finishes 13mm wide X 38mm long. I have the same bird in a larger pattern that's 84 X 264. More detail with some Green in the tail and wings.

Jim, I am curious, why do you feel the need for cp on the black thread? Is the maderia nylon and require it? if so, why not just put it on the colored weave threads and leave it off the black. I've stopped putting it even on the weave threads unless something is loose.

Jim; The Madeira Polyneon needs the CP. It has a silicone lubricant on it. I've tried just putting it on the Design threads but it leaves a very noticeable halo because it wicks out into the Black. The only other thing to do is cover the whole thing. I could use HT Black but I don't like the stuff. I'm going to have to try some other products and see if I can't find a CP that really works.

I was afraid that's what that was. Hopefully somene comes out with some new CP soon so this stops happeneing. I'm afraid to use too much Black in my wraps because of this...as well as my heating up the finish too much and causing the primary coat of PG to flake underneath. If it's not one thing, it's 3 other things, lol! REgardles, this looks great, I hope to see it next week along with all that other stuff you've been working on.

Totally awesomne dude. It rocks Jim. I have two suggestions that you might try. I know everyone says not to do it but I thin my Flex Coat and it doesnt happen nearly as bad but I do have to use multiple coats. Also I am presently experimenting with Dimondites CP and so for so good. Sorry to be so long at getting to this but I spent the whole day with Timm(you met him and Linnie(The TWINS) at FSH last year) He completely did a total reinstall and worked on several problem this computer was having and did a bunch of other stuff to jack me up to super computer dunce. LOL Great work my friend.
