decided to rebuild an old rod. I've been doing cross wraps for over twelve months now & becoming confident enough to try expanding on an old favourite the 'fish' pattern.

Nicely done Roz, a fish withing a fish. That appears to be trimar or is it Holland Astro.

James, it's mainly Trimar, I've never heard of 'Holland Astro'
My thread collection is starting to expand with some good advice given from sites like this one.
