Looks very nice. Have you had a chance to use it? Not having a trigger doesn't affect casting? Looks like it would be very comfortable for retrieves.

No I have not used it yet. The weather has been too nice to wrap. I did the butt section at night in front of the TV.
It is a very technique specific rod. It is only 5'6" and MH action with a 10" rear grip. I'm building it to use to dip into holes in the rocks on jetties, so casting is not an issue, I don't think it would be an issue anyway. I like a short rod for this so I can get right on top of the holes I am working. I think it will be a very fun rod to use for this.

The trigger is there to keep the rod from leaving your hand. Dont know how goods of an idea this. In any case its looks cool.
