Was he wearing that big cross before or did he put it on just for the bending test? Maybe eye protection next time? LOL

It an old Fenglas from the 70s I'm sure. No pretzel experience was needed. The cross was given to my father by his first (my second) cosing Christopher. He is a priest in Italy. The cross was blessed by the pope over 30 years ago. Eye protection is not needed....we've bent them more then that lol.

That 844 was a great blank for spinning rods. I never liked the action for casting rods myself prefering the SP845 for popping rods.
