Forgot to add that the rod this will go on is a bit smaller diameter and the area is quite short so I'll probably compress the wrap a little to get more pattern in the short space available. Thanks to all the guys on here who offered advice and help to get me started. Jason

I would have put that on a rod. It hurts to cut it all off.

Nice job Jason. Now go ahead and finish it and save it as a sample you'll be glad you did later on down the road.

Right on Jason!!!! Anybody would be proud to have that as their first crosswrap. Put some finish on it and save it for posterity like Jim said. I with I would have with my first(it would give everyone a chuckle) VERY tight work

Great effort for your first. Can't help but love silver and black.

Thanks for your comments Guys and your help along the way. I'll do as you said, finish it on the dowel and keep it. I hope these things get faster with experience, I think it took me about 3 or 4 hours to do this.
