The ice fishing rod is about 40" long for hole hopping with a spring bobber.

Thanks James, I made it out of the tip of a 13' telescoping crappie pole. It's very light for the length. The length is to long for a tent but it's great for hopping from hole to hole outside of the tent. The spring bobber is very sensitive and should work well for panfish and light jigs.
