i appreciate the compliments.
the first is a st croix sciv 4pc 9ft 8wt with peridot dyed box-elder burl/laguna burl/maple/bloodwood handle, seat is dyed box-elder burl w/bony fish inlay
the second is a rainshadow 4pc 6 1/2' 2wt with cherry burl/blackwood/holly/birch handle, seat is cherry burl w/mayfly inlay
the third is dan craft 9ft 10wt black composite wood/black composite and holly checkerboard/cork, seat is red/black swirl acrylic with little tunny/false albacore inlay
i'll have them at the show with similar seats and handles in my booth

John - Very nice work on all 3. What is "black composite wood" used on the bottom rod, I've never heard of it, and where do they sell it? Thanks Mark

mark it is a colored laminate called colorwood and other names. i got this from hut products and it comes in different colors. it comes in many different sizes as well. if you have any trouble finding it just let me know.
