At first glance this may look like a regular St. John's Cross, it's by far different. Trying to get my act together for the Decroative Wrap Book Patterns for High Point.

For MJ, I did this in one sitting, didn't move off the chair. Start to finish wrapping, setting up, and tying off was a little less than 3 hours. Blank was 12.5mm in diameter at the center. Actual wrapping time was about 2:15.

Doc, I've been fishing a lot the last 2 months, so I really have no time for e-mail and posting stuff. I have seen most of the pics you've recently posted, and they really are outstanding - both in weave skills and in creativity. Will get back to posting and wrapping more in a few weeks.

Hey go for it. I hope to really rack up the fishing hours after March myself. Time to catch up with all the lost water time over the last several years. My goal is to fish sooo much my hands prune. LOL

Yes Ray, 3 hours. It's amazing what is possible when you actually wrap rods instead of posting on the fishing boards all day every day, lol. Al, got you a seat at the NERBs booth ready for some Chicago style threadwork. Also gotta mix up teh accent, we'll have your slow smooth style, the heavy New England accent from MJ & Sean E, and the foul mouthed half illiterate NY street style which is really a fan favorite down in the South emplyed by myself. Hoping to have a "normal" NY accent with my buddy Rich & his son Jonathon making their way down.
