Added this to one of my rods which I built to be super lite. I was pleased at being light, but not having a wrap there took away from teh rod, so I added a really simple wrap where the background matches the color of the blank (Ox BlooD Red from GUSA), so now it looks like the Silver is on there all by itself.
Another less than good picture.

this is my Favorite of the three, i can picture how the red thread blends with the color of the blank, well done

Ralph, this is one you have to see in person to appreciate. My wife loved this one. Sometime s simple is best. I'm starting to figure out how to match Madeira with CP to Gudebrod Nylon pretty well. CErtain colors really darken when the CP is applied, this Red I think was 1781 and it toatlly changed once the CP was put on. With a coupel of coats of finish it's classy looking, as opposed to teh usual XL Guady style I employ, lol!
