Friends Son is graduating from USMC boot camp, officially becoming a marine. So I built him this Rainshadow ISP783F spinning rod to remember the day. Official Marine colors, scarlett and gold, are on the guides as well as the split grips and old glory

Thanks guys - Raymond the grips were made from Andy Dears rings with a few red poker chips thrown in and then two coats of Varathane Diamond Wood Finish was applied (same stuff I use for my CP)
Doc - always appreciate your comments - yes it is a lightweight - the blank weighs 1.58 oz & is only about 0.265" at the middle of the flag pattern - 3 threads per stripe on the flag! (and its still almost too big!)
