danny ross Registered: June 2006 Posts: 30	In the process of building a 9ft flaot rod for steelhead fishing tiny tribs. I glued some camphor burl to some modified sections of Pac Bay's bamboo burl grips(man I wish they sold rings of this stuff) and let her fly on the lathe. Pretty hsppy with what I cam up with. 1st attempt at a split grip.

thanks mike, when I finish assembling the grip I'll try and take a better pic. Just got done reaming and check fitting, gonna go break out the rod bond now!
