I like 'em, Mick! How many coats of Threadmaster to encapsulate? These aren't custom ice picks, right? LOL. This Texas boy knows nothing about ice fishing!

Thanks guys. Jerry, the inlay bands took 5 coats, adding bits of the gold leaf on each, except the final coat, to show the depth. The finish on the cork is a tru-oil type gunstock finish.

Ice fishing??? You guys are nuts if you do it for pleasure on your days off. Gotta like the flake though. Thanks Mick.

Mate I've never done ice fishing but I really do like that e/burl cork. It really has a nice lustre.

Mike, you'll just be making up for all the ideas I've stolen from you! MJ, I enjoy it but it's not cold enough here for me to do it anymore. The flakes really are a neat look. Lots of folks seem to like them. Mark, I love that cork. It's hard to do plain cork anymore. Thanks guys.
