Close up of the split grip area. I found that Madeira colors 1843 and 1842 are the closest you can come to at matching the blank. 1843 is the closest to the grip. Under the decal there is no thread.

Jim, this is an excellent split grip. As a split grip lover, it looks awesome to me. What sort of material is that? Never seen such thing before.
