i am getting the core of the metallic thread showing through the thread and cant seem to burnish the main or metallic tread down.

Dennis, What size thread is that?? Can't tell but it looks pretty thick. On metallic, I pack good as I'm wrapping and go light on the burnishing

both threads are size A. Garnet is Gudebrod 206. Metallic is Gudebrod HT in steel blue.
