I think it always looks great with that Juniper. Not sure I would break the habit. Another nice job btw.

Thank you gentlemen! The Juniper colors do tend to limit my imagination but I think rusts or tans would work with it also.

Beutiful rod,,all round,,,I too have a fixation with red wraps,,,probally built over 30 rods useing red wraps of some type.

Something to think about is Gudebrod Classic Twist in black/orange with CP. I've used it a couple of times to get a "wood grain" look. The orange comes out a woodish, rustish color. The downside imo is the rod looking too busy if the grip has a lot going on with inlays etc. But you keep your grips clean and simple (a great look) so the overall look could be pretty neat. It sure is easy to spend your money experimenting Smile

That Juniper again!! I want some so bad, and thought I had located some one to get it from. But they won't answer my emails??? Stan, I've emailed you a few times too. I don't know if your spam blocker is getting them or what. Can you help me with this? Sad
