Complete set has a male & female parts. Male part is the main holder, rubberized or raisin type with a back plate in gold or silver. It comes standard with 1 pc of weight, in gold or silver. The female part has to be fixed into the blank.

Would be nice to fix that female part into the reel seat and have a detachable butt for travel rods.

Thanks, Anthony. Now I understand. Pretty neat system. I guess you could glue a coin or do some type of decal on the butt end. Where do you acquire these? I must have missed them somewhere.

Dave. these are from Matagi and you can get them from Merrick Tackle. I have been using Matagi's components for 3 years and they are top quality. Mine are direct from Matagi as I am agent for Singapore.
