That's the Mother of Pearl. I have turned reel seats and trim rings with this stuff but you have taken all the way - over the top. I realy like it. Looks rich.

I dont know squat about turning but I can tell you that looks great. Simple but classy. What is the material? Does it weigh a lot?

Jim - Becarefull when mounting this material on a dark blank as the smaller the O. D. the more of the blank color will show. The thiner material will darken more than the thicker part. F. Y. I.
