Good job Ralph you will really have an easy time tightening. Hope you have my PDF on packing and rolling and that baby will look like a sticker. What type thread are you useing? I find it easier to tighten the threads before cutting them shorter. That way I can tighten one layer at a time. ie the body threads then the fin threads. Pleas show us how it is when finished.

Thanks guys,

Doc, i dont have that PDF, can ya email it to RscagL@iwon.com

The turning thread was Gubebrod Black Size B, the
Weave threads were Madeira 40wt.1779, 1942, 40, 1626 and gudebrod white NCP size A

these colors were as close as i could come to the colors that you list on the pattern. it looks better in person as the camera cant pick up the different shades of the regular white madeira and the NCP white.

Your carp pattern is next.

Ralphie, nice job again. You still messing with those Carp? lol. Too bad prospect Park is as grimy as it is, that lake needs to see some better quality rods.

I haven't really been there since I moved to SI myself. If it werent' teh way it is, I'm sure you'd be more willing to give it a shot, adn I'd be a little disappointed I havent' been there. Not worth getting a 20 hour rod stolen.

Nice weave, I hope to do as well someday. I am just getting started with my new weaving. I am starting to jump in to weaving some fish, but so far they haven't turned out so nice so they got cut. I am glad I know the size of the threads you guys are using that helps a bunch when I am doing my wraps. I have learned so far that the pattern thread has to be only one size smaller than the wrap for it to workout and look good. Nice weave, I am impressed.
