I would assume the entire foregrip is turned to lock the hood. Sort of the old "quick-loc" type system.

Tom, I assumed that too, I ahven't looked in a while, but I wasn't aware they made that with a Gunsmoke hood. I know you posted how to switch hood color a while back, I'm just wondering if that's what he did here.

Bill, I think the colour was a special order thing, I got a bunch off a commercial builder here a while ago, excess to his needs. regards Paul.
