I can see it, its subtle but you can clearly tell there are two threads on the UW. How do you like the LRSG for >30lb class?

You don't necessarily need the LRSG for 30 class. For trolling purposes I like the look of these guides. For jigging or other applications where I'd be holding the rod all day I might go with a lighter frame. Jay

These rods were for a friend of mine that just built his second PINK charter boat. He uses Tiagra reels and the pale gold metallic matches them well. The only thing is that on the underwrap the light gold color almost gets lost in the pink. The rods do however look nice in person...and the owner is happy! Jay

I did the same exact thing with purple and gold and the gold was almost gone. I agree LRSG is heavy, but damn thats a good looking and functioning guide, my favorite. HNSG gets the nod for lighter. Have you heard anything on the new HB guide from Fuji?
