Changed my mind (that's allowed isn't it?) Single gunmetal thread inlay at the base of the wrap. I think I like this one better.

Only my third rod build. Working the inlay in at the start of the wrap is a bit tricky for me yet. With enough patience I'll get it done. Wink

Sean take a little time and prepare the guide foot by thinning down the frame and preparing a slope to the thread ramp up. It will look a lot better and keep the thread transition up the foot from gapping during use. Your inlays look fine - pop a trim band on the end of the wrap along with the inlay and you will smile. Gunmetal is an awesome color of thread!!
