This is the first time I have used Madiera Thread and am pretty happy with it. The rod is a prize for The Chuch Byron Commerative Tournament. The tuna is 66 X 106 threads and the signature is 29 x 102 threads. The white thread is 002 NCP and the wrap thread is B black sunset.

Doc,
That is beautiful work.
You are not covering up something with that dime are you?

Sure like that weave Doc. Like I was told with the recent rods I finished (Red Fish, Blue Fish), you should have used a dime with this years date.

I've got plenty of them dimes....I'll take a dozen or so of your weaves to go!
I think the black up aginst the white bands are stunning. They really look 3-d on that blue background.

Doc,
Very nice as usual. Don't worry I will be doing a color change weave soon. Other commitments at present.

Cheers,

Ross.

What thread did you use for the gold and what size? I am confused about the white and then using B thread on the overwrap. As always, beautiful work.

Drop me a line Ellis. I dont know what your question is about the white and when I weave with A for the pattern I always use B thread because it seems to keep the fish in better proportion. Hope that helps.
