This one was in progress when we had the fire. Got some smoke and some water but it survived so I had to finish it. Another MJ and Billy V inspiration.

Al...I may have been the first to put a palm tree into a wrap, Jamaca Style...But I've never seen a wrap like this with all the splits...really cool, with depth to boot. I'm sure this wrap has been done many, many times, 20,30,40 years ago...you just happen to add a certain SNAP to it!, your middle name must be 'Contrast'. Great to see the post.

WOW!!! That's razor sharp. THere's a lot of different colors and shades going on there, simple splits here and there, reverse color over here, add a connection & voila!!! I really liek that one, especially in close up zoooom mode.

Thanks MJ, Billy and Jim. It's great to hear positive things from guys whose work you admire. I wish Doc would post some of his cross wraps. I'll bet they're AWESOME!

Really nice work Al. The centre of the box area really draws the eye and gives it a 3D contrast.

I think I found something new to learn. WOW your wrap is beautiful. Can you tell me more about the threads. What did you use, especially the yellow. You have definately taken the bar to another level.

Pat, the bar was set by Mike Joyce and Billy V and I'm still trying to get close, but thanks for the kudos. The threads are all Madeira and the color I think you mean is either 1823 or 1937. probably 1937 it just looks more yellow than orange in the picture.
