WOOOOOOOOOAAHHH!! Jesse Rides Again! Now that is adding some kind of class to the chagrin of Mr. Vivian! Buky & Lamiglas in the same building - get a good price for that one.

What tool or method did you use to cut out the foam cap so the fit was flush to the Bone?

Ended up grinding the Bone down on a belt sander to meet the cap OD. After holding the rods you had in Charlotte, I had to try this. The hosels really balance the whole rod out nicely. I'll end up putting a little tread trim band between the cap and bone, and add my sons initials on the back of the bone.

The things really work on a blank that is a tad on the tip heavy side. A guy will pick one up and always say "that is the lightest rod I have ever had in my hands". When I show them the the rod is really heavy compared to others but just well balanced they are amazed. I fish with one and I like it! Please honor Jesse and use an Invisiline Weave for the name and stay away from the Dark Side. The bone and a real weave would be too much for the fish to bear!
