Hi Vis Color Change Tip wrap incorporating the upper two guides with the thread color transitions positioned in the middle of the guide wraps. I fish quite a bit at night and tip wraps like this help with visability. I also fish in some pretty rough areas where equipment can walk away on you so good luck to anyone trying to walk off with this sucker. The red thread is Rayon Madeira (big mistake), the orange and bright yellow threads are Madeira Polyneon. Fiture Floor Acrylic as CP as my Flexcoat is acting wierd. Trying not to contaminate the lighter threads is a nightmare....Esp considering I am remodeling and painting my house.

I am curious to see how it handles under the tough conditions of my next Mud Marlin expedition. THe red thread is Madeira rayon....Won't do that again! The look of the wrap changed dramatically once my spar varnish finish was added even after using the CP. I was going to use the glow-in-dark thread on the barrel of the tip guide itself but all the thread of that type I found was afar too fuzzy so I will likely end up using paint. Fishing for Mud Marlin on a minus tide in the middle of the night is pretty fun I have to admit.
Thanks Mike.....I feel better now
