Dont worry Italo cant see those gaps without a magnifier and if anyone picks up a magnifier and your rod at the same time just make'em eat the magnifier! It's
amaizing what the camera see's and the naked eye cant!

Try rolling a round instrument over the thread after you put the CP on. Sometimes it can really help. Is that Madeira thread? Rolling really works great on it and burnishing before the CP can really close up little stuff too when using Madeira. I love the wrap anyway.
