Hooked up all right. To a heap of bottom I'd say. Had a customer said the same thing but hooked up to a Murray Cod instead. Usually if graphite breaks it will be further towards the tip area if the owner "high sticks" but lower down like yours when trying to break the line through the rod.

Its a glass blank not graphite, same results thought under same conditions I think
