A rod built for my friend Pierre, with a special cork handle designed only for him (Gordon type. I have tried to build a sobre rod, so as to meet his demand, I hope he will appreciate.

Nice photo Frantz. I like that reel seat too! Simple but classy grip. Designing and building specificly to the customer is what custom is all about!

Thank you Ray, I have lareday made several attempts regarding custom grip, this one was supposed to be a combination between a Ritz and Gordon grip but with specific measurements... The guy has visited me this afternoon and took the rod in his hand, the grip exceeded his expectations...

Thank you very much Daryl. Sorry to come to you so late but I was out for the week and I just came back yesterday and read your email. As I said regarding the grip shape it was supposed to be a combination between two old shapes : the Ritz and the Gordon, and I can tell you that this is really cofortable.
Where I live in France I am surrounded by vineyards, so I have asked to one of the guy I know to give me some cork, the one he uses for his barrels... I have shaped this handle with it and the result exceeded my expectations. The look is great and the handle looks "denser" and more solid. That's not burl but I have no clue how I can call it!!!!!
