Wrapped 4 guides on two sticks with black nylon A. Applied FC CP. Used 4 tools to apply FC low build to one wrap each on both sticks. Tools were a cheap brush, a Cheez-It cracker, a half eaten Slim-Jim, and the nose and tail of a lab mouse (cat toy... no real lab mice were harmed during this test). Which tools applied finish to which wraps? Bonus Question!!! For extra credit, which stick was placed underwater for 1 hour immediately after applying epoxy? Pic is 5 hours after applying finish.

Point of this? Finish doesn't care too much about your tools and doesn't watch the weather report. If it turns out bad, there is only one place to lay blame.

I'm gonna go with teh SLim JIm being the best. With all that grease in it the epoxy probably slipped right off and onto te threads. I'm more wondering if when you were doen you took a bite out of te Non-epoxy side of the Slim Jim? lol. Nice experiment.

Why does this not surprise me(I'm surprised that you didn't use your swizzle stick, though)?? Good point though. The best part is being able to recycle the Cheez-it and Slim Jim

Billy, they all worked equally well, though a couple were more difficult to use. The Slim Jim was harder than the others because of the grease. Trying to load it with finish was a bit difficult. (the grease has no visible effect on the epoxy either lol). I did some munching during the work though to get it to a more workable length (it was one of the long ones). Mike, I was planning to use it also, but I got lazy and didn't want to wrap any more guides!
