Dang! still not as good of focus as I wanted but the colors do show up much beeter

I usually take about a dozen pics from different distances and angles and pray to the photography gods that 1 or 3 turn out OK. One problem I can see is that your camera focused in on the background and not the rod. I stand back and zoom in on the subject of the photo, seems to help abit.
