Old rod never used - apparantly there was no finish applied to the brown thread. Rod in showroom condition. Does anyone have any idea as to the origin of this old fiberglass. Are there collectors for this stuff?

My guess is a standard True Temper solid glass boat rod. Chrome over brass reel seat with ferrule fitted into front of reel seat. Solid hickory wood butt.

I believe Tom is right on with that rod. They were built in my home town of Cleveland OH ,my dad bought about a half of dozen of those rods matched with Penn Levelwinds to fish for flounder and weakfish at our summer time vacation spot in Delaware.I still have those rods..
