Nice looking! How is the weight factor? I really like the looks of wood but
sometimes the weight issue causes me to pause. Wish I had a lathe!

Thanks. Honestly Raymond, I don't like the weight! The walnut is really a pig.
I'm starting a birch handle now and I'll do a split grip with some cork. Future solid wood handles will be split grip and as light as I can make them.

A tip I have seen to reduce the weight of wood is to bore out the interior and use foam or graphite arbors. Seems like a sound idea to me. I really need a lathe!!
