My second attempt at working with feathers. The rod is a grad present for my son (along with a steelhead trip to northern British Columbia). I wrapped it in his high school colors and attempted to maintain the same hues with the feathers

Thanks for the comments guys - Raymond they are arrgus pheasant , reeves, parrot, chicken, jungle cock and others I'm probably forgetting. Being new to feather work , I called Kate at Siskiyou (sponser to the left) and told her what I was working with regarding colors etc. and she hooked me up. GREAT person to deal with
