The rod is a grad present for my son (along with a steelhead trip to northern British Columbia). I wrapped it in his high school colors and attempted to maintain the same hues with the feathers

Very nice job Jerry. The hackle feather frame around the center piece really sets it off.

Thanks for the comments guys - Raymond they are arrgus pheasant , reeves, parrot, chicken, jungle cock and others I'm probably forgetting. Being new to feather work , I called Kate at Siskiyou (sponser to the left) and told her what I was working with regarding colors etc. and she hooked me up. GREAT person to deal with
