My third rod!
A 8 1/2 ft. Rouge blank with metallic corvette blue paint job(another first for me!),& all Metallic threads. Rubber o-ring winding checks, but this time I added thread trim wraps and covered in epoxy-same for butt cap. Fuji Hardloy guides, and Fuji reel seat.
The bow tie wrap is the same colour aqua as the guides...but it has an Ice blue shading on the edges that my camera won't pick up. Instead it shows as an altered blue thats not there.
Metallic thread is a B*%#h to photograph!

I love it. Quite the eye catcher. Beautiful butt wrap and excellent detail work with the check and butt cap. I hear you on catching metallics on pics!
