Very nice work Mike. And it is streight cause the light goes though the center.

Very appreciated, Thanks Bill! This was my third-ever crosswrap, and came out much better than the first! Used the taped-down NCP thread method from Tom's book to help keep those crosswraps centered, works well! Thanks again!

Thanks Mike, much appreciated! Used chrome-framed alconites and #6 clag for the transitional "bumper" guide on this rod and thought it came out looking nice, although I doubt the fish care! It was a lot of fun to build and many lessons were learned. Thanks again!

Thanks Doc! These simple crosswraps seem to take me forever, but I think split grips and decorative wraps were definitely made for each other! I really appreciate your compliment, Mike
