I was bored with Black overwraps, so I figured I'd ghetto the rod out a little by adding some "decals" from an Olde English beer label. I'm adding another coat of finish to the OE/40oz label, yes I see the bubble and uneven finish.

You should see if you can find a really long brown paper bag to carry it in...ghetto style.

I can find long skinny brown paper bags, from the bakery. Maybe I'll fasten them together to make a 6' long bag to carry the rod in, that would be funny.

Don't care about the bubble. You have done a really great job on this one Billy. I like the black wraps with the single thread inlay and the Pommy eer decals.

Billy...POMs are Prisoners of Mother England. A term usually reserved by Aussies for British subjects and Kiwi's. Perhaps a few others as well.

I really like it Billy! I might have to do a Busch one for myself. Leave the bubbles. Tell people you are trying to simulate beer.

Mick - now that's funny, really funny. Problem is I may have to say that about ALL my rods, lol. I've got one more rod to do OE style, I know the wrap I'm going to do, gonna mess with teh "decals" again, all I have to plan is a way to do the butt cap. It's too bad I fish on PB's so much, the butts of all my rods get demolished, and what I am going to do will look great posted on teh boards, but get mangled once I go fishing, but I'm gonna go for it anyway, just for laughs.
