CGBT96H blank for codfishing. Clams are good right now from what I hear, but various length and style 12-21 oz jigs will work too.The heavier jigs might be pushing it a bit with this rod.

Mike, very nice!! You should never need more than 16-17 ounce jigs cod fishing, I use 10's and 12's most of the time. Excellent blank for cod jigging, my favorite!!

Looks great Mike, i agree with Sean, if the tide is strong enough to make you use more than a 16oz. jig, the fish wont be biting anyway.
Sean, is this the same blank you had on the yellowbird when we fished together??

Waht, that's not a weave? Lazy. You could have finished the weave before the decal arrived - at least teh customer wouldn't've been waiting postin gon teh internet "where's my rod". lol!!

Yes, Ralph, same blank. But I removed the guides and put some Fuji HNSG's on it since then.
If it takes more than 17 ounces to hold bottom, I won't even fish.
