Sweeet! Thanks for posting! I saw an earlier post (probably yours)of a grip cut out like that and was going to do it on one myself but forgot about it! Thanks for the reminder!

Beautiful work! penalty that is dificil to obtain certain materials here in Brazil. It forgives the English (translating computer)

Stan, if possible can you post the weight of the finished rod & reel combo? I could not believe just how light this set up was, if I had to guess I'd say a total of 6oz for the entire set up.

The reel by itself weights 6.0oz and change. The rod weights between 3-4oz is my guess.
