just fooling around with the mini lathe and decided a mini baseball bat was in order. Finished with teak oil and a little buff with cotton rag.

What kind of wood is that? My son played ina Wood Bat Baseball league last year, and I would take the broken bats home and re-shape them into Mini bats based on the kids specs, then take them to the game the next day. Funny to see a wine bottle shaped mini bat, one with a REALLY thin handle, and a FAT barrel. Wasn't funny when they started hitting each other with them, lol.

Billy- Leopard wood. It looks awesome when finished. The grain looks more like the scales of a snake than anything else.

It should work out really well when turned as a reelseat...
