1/8" thick alum. stock from Lowe's, wood screws, and brass shims to make a slot to fit the saw blade without slop for 1/4" slices. Putting an extra plate piece down before ring gives 1/8" slices. Total cost was less than $5 and a half hours time.

Looks like you finally have your workshop up and going. Beats working on the porch, but I can't see the scotch in this picture. We don't see as many of these inventions as we use to. Thanks Mick.

Thanks guys. Mike, believe it or not, this is one of the few things I thunk up all on my own! hahah Shop is getting there, Myles. Still haven't had as much time to play with it as much as I'd like. The glass was there, just out of frame lol. Bill, the saw is a Pro Series Sabretooth that I picked up a while back at Sears [ link ]
